Demonstration piece

Car dealership — showroom, yard and detail

A glass showroom, a conversation beside a car, the stock yard from above and a macro of a rear light. Brand material for a dealer site, listings and social, with no studio hire.

Car dealership — showroom, yard and detail

Brief

Brand sequence for a car dealership:

Interior of a bright glass-walled car showroom, polished floor reflecting the cars.
A salesperson and a client talking beside a vehicle. High wide shot of the outdoor
stock yard, rows of cars in daylight. Extreme macro of a rear light unit, the LED
signature glowing against dark bodywork. A salesperson walking across the yard
between the rows.

Cool neutral lighting with warm highlights, clean and orderly, slow deliberate camera
moves, photorealistic commercial cinematography, no text, no brand logos, no badges,
no number plates.

Notes

The constraint this removes

A dealer listing wins or loses on the first image. The standard is a phone on the forecourt, the sun behind the car and the photographer reflected in the door. Hiring a hall costs enough that it only happens for the top of the stock, never the whole yard.

There is a second problem: scale. A buyer cannot tell whether they are dealing with twenty cars or two hundred. The overhead shot answers that in two seconds.

What changes

The mood piece is made once and works as framing: an intro on a listing, a loop on the site, a backdrop for the offer of the week. Photographs of the actual vehicle are still taken normally — this is the frame, not the substitute.

Where the line sits

A generated car must not stand in for a specific vehicle for sale. That is straightforwardly misleading about the goods. Safe: dealership brand material, graphic framing, a backdrop behind copy. Unsafe: using it as the vehicle photograph in a listing.

That is why there are no number plates, manufacturer badges or logos in frame.
